Practicing the Art of Playing with Light

The word Lusorium and associated logo came to my mind in 2007, as the seeds of Tai Chi Chuan, Qi Gong and Yoga sprouted, and took root in my life.

The imagery and words have continued evolving to represent many concepts that resonate in my life.

Light – The bringer of life, wisdom, understanding and trancendence.
Particles and Waves at once, that which can be divided into spectrums and points. The point where time and physical movement through space coalesce, the ultimate speed limit (for now)… Tangible enough to feel and see, larger than our limited senses can perceive. Manipulated with ease, yet fleeting and temporary in the daily reality of our existence on Earth. Energy, Information. The eternal, ethereal, temporal and corporeal.

The Player – In the games of life, it is as important to have fun as it is to challenge yourself to improve your skills and craft toward mastery.  We must provoke ourselves and each other to reach higher levels of ability and understanding. There are rules to playing, but it’s just a game.

Lusorium represents us, the amalgamation of atomic light bodies and consciousness that form the human body and experience.
A Lusorium is a place to play, and cultivate Light Energy.

Lusorium Studio is the venue we occupy to engage with and study this light energy.

To practice the art of playing with Light.
